Tulsi, also known as holy basil, is known as "the incomparable" and is considered to be the most sacred plant on the planet by the ancient Vedic Puranas (sacred Ayurvedic texts). It is still used in daily puja (worship) and is common in home yards to promote a positive and uplifting environment. In Indian culture, tulsi is also present at important life transitions such as weddings and funerals.
Tulsi is mentioned in Christian legends dating back centuries, in addition to its constant role in India. It is also used in the preparation of holy water in the Greek Orthodox tradition.
Tulsi, the principal of light, perception, and clarity, is abundant in Tulsi. Ayurveda says that we should accept sattvic energy when we can so that we can grow these qualities in ourselves.
Tulsi is also known to boost and safeguard the subtle powers of ojas and prana in the body. Prana is the body's life force, which supports intelligence, communication, and healing. Ojas promotes joy, vitality, and a robust immune system, while prana is the body's life force, which supports intelligence, communication, and healing.
Tulsi can help with a number of skin and hair problems due to its characteristics. Some of its skin care benefits are to slow down the ageing process. Basil is known for its anti-aging benefits. The plant is rich in antioxidants, which makes it a good choice for skin rejuvenation.
