Diwali, also spelled Deepavali, is a major Hindu festival observed annually on the day of the new moon in autumn, the darkest day of the year. Since it commemorates the triumph of good over evil, it is a monumental event in Hinduism. Hindus all over the world use candles made from butter (ghee) to purify their souls.
These pure ghee candles are made with clarified butter, which contributes to their wonderful aroma. A burner (called a diya) or a tea light holder can be used to light the ghee candle., like one of our ghee candle burners.

Ingredients
Ghee
Ghee is best able to attract and reciprocate the Sattvik or positive vibrations present in the surrounding atmosphere. Ghee quickly disperses its aroma in the air and purifies it from microbes. Meditating on a ghee lamp without blinking is a very good exercise that purges the eyes and clarifies our vision.
Camphor
Camphor oil is popular in aromatherapy as it helps relieve respiratory congestion. It also has anti-congestant properties that can help relieve coughs in children and adults.
Sandalwood
With a rich, woody and earthy smell, sandalwood has an ancient history of use for relaxation and anxiety relief. Scientific research indicates that sandalwood can be effective in relieving anxiety symptoms. Research has also shown that sandalwood can have sedative effects, reducing wakefulness and increasing the amounts of non-REM sleep.
Jasmine
Jasmine's romantic scent has long been believed to have an aphrodisiac effect. We know that inhaling jasmine or using it in aromatherapy massage improves mood and has been reported to increase romantic and positive feelings as well as energy levels.
Ingredients: Pure Vanaspati Ghee with Cotton Wick with a fragrance of camphor, sandalwood and jasmine.
