Clarified butter, also known as Desi Ghee, goes through a process called clarification, during which it is cleansed of protein as well as water and any other impurities. This is the process that is used to create pure milk fat, which has a high combustion coefficient and is therefore ideal for baking, frying, and otherwise preparing foods in the kitchen.
It is an inseparable element in Ayurvedic cooking, thanks to its health properties. Ghee butter has been shown to improve digestion, metabolism, and the body's ability to rid itself of toxins.

Although fat should be consumed in moderation, studies show that eating fatty foods like ghee can help the body absorb some essential vitamins and minerals. Cooking healthy foods and vegetables with ghee can help absorb more nutrients.
It consists of fats of which 62% are saturated fats which play a prominent role in increasing HDL or good cholesterol, reducing LDL or bad cholesterol without harming the lipid profile. Ghee is also a rich source of Omega 3 and Omega 6 and is loaded with essential amino acids.

Ingredients
Pure Desi Ghee
Pure Desi Ghee is predominantly made from the milk of grass-fed cows, and is also known as 'clarified butter'. Its golden yellow colour and nutty flavour is perfect for many uses. Ghee is a great frying and cooking medium with distinctive flavour attributes.
The easiest method to check purity is to melt it in a pan. Place a pan over medium heat and let it heat for some time, now add a teaspoon of ghee to it. If the ghee melts immediately and turns dark brown in colour, then it is pure ghee.
Is Desi Ghee white or yellow?
Ideally, the colour of Desi Ghee is yellowish, yellow or golden. It is never pure white, but can be pale with light golden liquid on top. The granular part of the ghee that settles is whiter than the golden liquid part of the ghee.
