How to Use
For a fragrant bath
Add 4 to 6 drops of oil to your relaxing bath soak.
For a relaxing massage
Warm your favourite vegetable oil or one suitable for your dosha, add a few drops of the essential oil and enjoy a relaxing massage.
As a body oil
Add a few drops of the essential oil to your favourite body oil and massage into damp skin after bathing.
For aromatherapy
Use a few drops in a diffuser burner for aromatic use.
Vaporisation
Add a few drops of ylang ylang essential oil to a bowl of hot water. Carefully lean over the steam and cover your head with a towel. The treatment will help open the nostrils and bring relief from a cold.
Caution! You should not exceed more than 1% of the total content, for example if you are using 10ml of massage oil then you should NOT add more than 0.1ml of the essential oil. One drop of essential oil equals 0.05 ml and 2 drops equals 0.1 ml (approximate).

Ylang ylang can be described as a deep, rich, slightly sweet and floral aroma. It brings hints of cream, jasmine, banana, neroli (bitter orange), honey and spices. It also has earthy and vegetative characteristics.
Ylang-ylang essential oil has moisturising properties which help maintain the skin's oil production and keep it well nourished. Its natural antiseptic properties can even heal any kind of cuts or cracks caused by excessively dry skin. It can hydrate, replenish the skin as well as keep it healthy.
Applying ylang ylang oil to the skin promotes relaxation, kills bacteria, lowers blood pressure, and increases sexual desire. It can also be combined used to kill head lice. The aroma of ylang ylang oil in aromatherapy is used for memory and reasoning ability. When it comes to sleep, ylang ylang can help you fall asleep faster, while reducing stress and anxiety.
